Columbia, SC: The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) announces its third transfer to the State Treasure for deposit in to the Education Lottery Account in the amount of $16,000,000.
To date, the SCEL has transferred $51 million dollars to the Education Fund. Last month, the SCEL made a deposit of more than $21.6 million dollars.
The Education Lottery Act requires the SCEL to make a monthly transfer of the lottery proceeds to the State Treasurer.
