COLUMBIA, SC (September 19, 2024) – A Rock Hill lottery player is in a good mood after winning $200,000.
“I’m happy,” she said.
The winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that her luck changed when she took a chance on a $5 lottery ticket the Hari OM Mart on York Ave. S. in Rock Hill. She took the ticket home and couldn’t believe it when she saw the $200,000 prize was hers.
“I knew everything was going to be all right,” she said.
The odds of winning $200,000 in the Max Money game are 1 in 660,000. One more top prize remains in the game.
For selling the claimed ticket, Hari OM Mart in Rock Hill received a commission of $2,000.
