Powerball® Rockets to $1.23 BILLION, $1 MILLION Ticket Sold in North Augusta

COLUMBIA, SC (April 4, 2024)The Powerball® jackpot has rocketed to $1.23 BILLION for Saturday. In Wednesday’s drawing, a ticket sold in South Carolina won $1 MILLION.

Check your tickets in North Augusta! A player at the Quik Trip #1197 at 930 Edgefield Rd. matched all five white ball numbers drawn to win $1 MILLION (11 - 38 - 41 - 62 - 65 and PB 15). The odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 11,688,054.

More than 47,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $4 up to $1 MILLION. Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. For complete information on claiming prizes, visit sceducationlottery.com.

South Carolinians interested in taking a chance on Saturday’s fourth largest jackpot worth $1.23 BILLION ($595 million cash value) must purchase their tickets by 9:59 p.m. for the 10:59 p.m. drawing.  Tickets are available at most grocery stores and convenience stores in our state.

The Powerball® jackpot was last won on New Year’s Day in Michigan. This Saturday’s drawing will be the 41st drawing in the jackpot run, which ties the game record for most consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner. Only two other Powerball® jackpot runs have previously reached 41 drawings, before producing a jackpot winner.

Odds of winning the jackpot are about 1 in 293 million.
