Draw talent semi-finalists named

COLUMBIA, SC (February 20, 2002) – Twenty semi-finalists from around the state will convene at Columbiana Centre mall at 11 a.m. this Saturday for a live audition to serve as a featured host or hostess for the South Carolina Education Lottery’s (SCEL) upcoming daily draws.

The statewide contest has been organized by Newman Saylor & Gregory (NS&G), the lottery’s advertising and public relations firm.

The SCEL will launch Pick 3, its first daily draw game, on March 7. The draws will air nightly on select TV stations at 6:59 p.m.

Details about this Saturday’s live audition are as follows:

What: Live Audition with 20 Semi-Finalists for the Lottery Talent Search
When: 11 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2002
Where: Columbiana Centre, 100 Columbiana Circle, Columbia, SC Center Court (near the Food Court).


Media Guidelines as issued by Columbiana Centre: - News media should report to the Customer Service counter, near the Food Court (by the carousel), to be escorted by security to the event site.
- News media may only interview members of the audience (not shoppers) and discuss only the event.
- News media may not photograph individual stores or other parts of the mall.
- NO LIVE SHOTS.

News media should be escorted back out of the mall by security from Customer Service.
