Columbia, SC:  The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) is please to report sales figures for the third week of operations ending January 27th.  This information is based on data provided by Scientific Games International.  Estimated ticket sales to date are $55.6 million.

January 7 to January 13, 2002:   3,048,916
January 14 to January 20, 2002:       3,196,565
January 21 to January 27, 2002:   2,923,250
Total:       9,264,781

The dollar value of prizes paid:
January 7 to January 13, 2002:      $10,870,318
January 14 to January 20, 2002:   $11,249,569
January 21 to January 27, 2002:     $10,333,352
Total:      $32,453,239
